Winter has come…

It’s cold and we have snow here in England. And to quote Game of Thrones, winter has come!

I feel like going back home, back to bed and wrapping my self in the duvet.

The Fire and the old guy

Last year the old boy upstairs fell asleep smoking a cigarette, not good! As the horse-hair chair he was sitting in went up in flames. His flat burned and was gutted by the fire. He isn’t directly above me thank god, but there was a girl above me who was pregnant at the time. She was in shock.

I was out in the street opposite my place looking at the flames appear in the window, I got out my phone and started to record the event.

There is talk on the news about cutting the services, that there isn’t enough police, fire fighters, ambulances. But in my road there was three fire engines and one more round the corner. Six police cars and two ambulances. There was even a helicopter that airlifted the old boy to the hospital.

What I didn’t really know about this guy, who’s name is Steve, is that people told me he isn’t a very nice person. He seemed okay to me when I first moved to the area, but here is the story.

He use to work for the church as an organist and from some reports I heard that he is gay. That he was interested in the young boys in the church. And he drank about a pint of gin a day. This guy is in his late 70s and he had boys over who were in their 20s!! One guy, who has been in and out of prison came over regularly to him.

What he did upstairs was his own business, but then I heard this one guy would constantly abuse the old man, beat him up, steal all his money and his pension money.

This led Steve down this dark path, only to loose his memory among other graces and now he sits in a care home not knowing who he is and he still gets visited by this kid. Who most likely has other motives than caring for him.

The couple who lived directly above me said he would leave the gas on, his place was filthy and there was bed bugs! I really wouldn’t want him back here so that never happens again.

This all happened in April last year, in December the young couple now have a baby girl and the guy told me in December they aren’t returning to their flat, soon as all the works are done by the insurance company they will sell the place.

I am sitting here now with one guy working on the front door, which the one of the fire fighters did a fair bit of damage too, even know none of the fire touch my place!

I just hope the old guy doesn’t return and the council use some common sense.

Cyberbully on Channel 4

It’s unusual that i have ever seen a bit of television with just one actress but Maisie Williams was brilliant. This one off show really hit home and is a real thinker.

Maisie’s character is just another teenage girl with her laptop and an internet connection. Using modern trends like Facebook, twitter and instergram, what appears to be innocent starts a chain reaction that starts the cyber bullies.

I felt that the range of emotions and content kept me hooked and you really feel for the character.

Now i will really need to think before i post comments in the future. I really recommend this to watch.

Where did she go?

I met a girl online on a game chat room, she came to England twice and I went to her country once. I thought we were friends, had a little something, but recently I don’t see her on facebook. Has she deleted me as a friend or herself off of facebook? I emailed and sent messages on skype, I still don’t understand what I had done to not get a reply. It’s not like she really ever talked to me properly or had much of a conversation.

But why? Why am I so mystified, I can’t explain or understand why, instead I shall just leave a song.

The Librarians on SyFy, can it really survive?

It could of been good, but no, it can’t be, a decent idea screwed over by terrible, un-plausible writing. The direction is all over the place. The director of this disaster is Dean Devlin or should I blame the creator John Rodgers? Whoever it is down too for such bad stories should be shot! I have managed to watch four episodes, but no more thank you.

If there are viewers out there that like the show? Then shoot me instead! I am sure people want to escape the reality of everyday life, but this show isn’t escapism, it isn’t grounded in any true reality and that fails The Librarians on so many levels. All the good acting, star quality can not save a show if you can’t write a decent storyline.

Even the trailer sucks. I really can’t see the show surviving past season one.

XIII season 2 sucks

I am wondering how i managed to watch the second season, i am currently upto episode 8 and it really is a waste of time! The first season was good, but the acting at times by the supporting casts is terrible. The president of the US and the president to be, so much dodgy to bad acting.

I can’t take it anymore…
